Our confinement red dates tea is

Ingredients:

• Red Dates (also known as jujubes)
• Black Dates
• Longan
• Raw Dangshen

Optional, at no extra cost, to further fine tune concoction with 2 more herbs for lactation needs and C-section. 

 

How to prepare:

1. Rinse herbs with water before adding herbs and water to pot (1000ml).
2. Boil for 30 mins till simmering (OR slow boil for 2 to 3 hours). 
3. Red dates tea is ready to drink.

What is red dates tea good for?
Red dates tea helps to replenish and nourish your blood, thus improving blood circulation. This can lead to better liver and digestive function, balance of inner body energy (qi) and improved immunity.

 

Can I drink red dates tea everyday?
Red dates tea is suitable for daily consumption for anyone in a reasonable amount, such as one to two cups daily (with an exception for confinement when you can drink red dates tea more often). Like many foods and things in life, too much of anything can't be good.

 

How do you make red dates tea for confinement?
To make your very own pot of red dates tea, simply rinse the red dates, longan & other herbs and put them in a pot of water. Bring the water to a boil and simmer for approximately 30 minutes. 

 

How long should I boil red dates?
Place all the red dates, herbs and water in a pot. Boil for 30 mins till simmering. Or slow boil for 2 to 3 hours for maximum flavour.
